Our center belongs to one of the four major lineags of Tibetan Buddhism, the Kagyu lineage (others being Sakya, Nyngma and Gelug).
Within Kagyy lineage, there is four main lineages: Taklung, Drukpa, Karma and the one we belong to: Drikung.

Drikung being the name of the lineage.
Ratna is a reference to the second family of the five Dhyani Buddhas (Vajra, Ratna, Padma, Karma and Buddha). A principle is attached to each family. The Ratna's principle is wealth and the capability to develop a wealthiest environment.
This family is southward, symbolised by a jewel and by the color yellow (ref Chögyam Trunpa-Journey without goal).

The center is placed under the spiritual guidance of his founder: his Eminence Todgan Rinpoche.
